I didn’t come to this work through retail. I came to it through nursing — through years of paying attention to what keeps people safe, what makes life easier, and what actually holds up under real‑world use. That background shaped how I see everything: details matter, quality matters, and the things we bring into our homes should make life better, not more complicated.

I grew up around people who believed in buying well-made items so they only had to buy once. My parents were children during the Great Depression, when waste was not an option. As adults, they saved up to afford the best version of the product they had in mind. My stepfather was raised dirt poor, and to him, quality wasn't about status—it was about sense. His belief is one I share: invest well, invest once.

Evergreen Al Fresco was born from that belief.
